2018-2019 Programs

Unless otherwise noted, programs are open to the public and begin at 12:00 Noon on Wednesdays at the Topsham Public Library (25 Foreside Road).  The public is welcome to attend and to join members for dessert and coffee after the presentation, and then stay for the brief business meeting.  

Details of off-site programs, including arrangements for car pooling, will be announced closer to the program date.

February 14 - "Favorite Native Plant Cultivars for Maine" with Kyle Rosenberg, Arborist, City of Bath Division of Forestry and owner of Forest to Shore Tree and Landscape Services

March 14 -  Meeting cancelled on account of Nor'easter

April 11 -  "Everything About Dahlias" with Suzanne Bushnell of the Harpswell Garden Club and Judy Stallworth of the Bath Garden Club

May 9 - "A Tour of Five Members' Spring Gardens in Topsham & Brunswick"

June 13 - "Foraging for Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants" with Tom Seymour, Wild Plants of Maine


July 11 - "A Tour of Bob Metivier's 'Garden Rooms of Pond Ridge'" in Topsham.  For more information, click here.

September 12 - "Bring Nature Home in Maine" with Eric Topper, Maine Audubon's Director of Education. For more information, click here.

April 10 -  Annual Meeting and potluck lunch

(third Wednesday; begins at 10:00 AM) - Field trip to Shady Glen Nursery in Freeport

July 10 (begins at 10:00 AM) - Field trip to Nickels-Sortwell House and its sunken garden in Wiscasset
